1. Information we collect

• Details you give us: your first name, phone number, age, and the wellness goals you choose. For नामाक्षर (Name Analysis): your full name, date of birth, and (optionally) time and place of birth.
• Your face scan: when you take a scan, your face image is processed to generate your reading (see Section 3). For compatibility (मिलन) readings, the two photos you choose are processed to generate that reading.
• On-device face signature: to keep your account personal to you, a private mathematical “face signature” is created and stored only on your own device. It is never uploaded to our servers.
• Usage and purchase records: scans and chats used, plans purchased, and payment confirmations (handled by our payment partner — we do not store your card or bank details).
• Technical data: basic information your device/browser sends automatically, used to run and secure the App.

2. How we use your data

• To create and personalise your readings and recommendations.
• To run your account, apply your plan, and process payments.
• To keep the App secure and prevent misuse.
• To respond to your questions and provide support.

We rely on your consent (which you give at sign-up) and, where applicable, the need to provide the service you ask for.

3. How your face scan is handled

Because a face image can be sensitive, we ask for your clear consent before any scan and keep this handling as limited as possible.

4. Service providers we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the App, and only as needed:

• Razorpay — to process payments securely (India).
• Supabase — to store your account, usage and purchase records (database hosted in Mumbai, India).
• OpenRouter / Anthropic — the AI service that processes your scan and text to generate readings.
• Vercel — to host and deliver the App.

Some of these providers may process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, it is done to deliver the service you requested, in line with applicable law.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your account details (name, phone, age, goals) and purchase/usage records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal/accounting requirements. Your face image is not retained after your reading. You can ask us to delete your data (see Section 6).

6. Your rights under the DPDP Act

• Access — ask what personal data we hold about you.
• Correction & completion — ask us to correct or complete your data.
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data, subject to legal requirements.
• Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time (this won’t affect processing already done).
• Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us (see Section 9), and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.
• Nomination — nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data — including encrypted connections, access controls on our database, and keeping secret keys off the public app. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

8. Children

Paroksh Sutra is for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the App, please contact us so we can delete the data.
